Cover it over with hay and add some nitrogen......help nature get a foothold.....You could try throwing out some millet at the same time and cover it with the hay....

you got a middle buster or 1-2 row bottom plot to run through it? old log loading ramps usually have good organic matter from the decaying limbs, bark and tree tops they left from logging. I know at least ours did in our lease. about 4-5 years after we decided to run a pow through it and it looked like coffee grounds the dirt was so black and rich Wouldn't it be awesome if all of of our plots lhad soil that looked like that..........
