What were you warned about and who warned you?

He was warned not to take candy from Perchjerker (apparently jb20 didn't listen) from all of us!

I was told just a few things about the page by some folks who have been on here for a while.

One comment that stuck with me is that the site is ran by a click of old pissed off drunks who think they know everything.

It wasn’t anything terrible..., just mentioned there was a few who post all the time and that they seem to be in a click with the guy who runs it and the rules are a little different for them.

Might be some truth to some of that. It takes all kinds of folks to make a world. You also wont have to go far around here to find somebody who will help you or encourage you when youre down. In most places, the folks who have been there the longest have the run of the place, thats nothing odd. Something else too, those old pissed off drunks will be the first to offer some help too.

I’m not going to begin to act as if I understand the inner workings of the sight or those who run it. I know every time I’ve sold something I’ve let Skinny know I donated. There has been a lot of negativity since I’ve joined but COVID has been going so I can understand why. I’ve got no clue what people do at home so I don’t know how someone can determine if another person is a drunk or not from an Internet forum. Having said all that I’m sure there’ll be more talk about deer hunting as the season nears.

My favorite pissing and moaning posts are pissing and moaning about the site and how there’s too much pissing and moaning.

I dont have facebook, tweeter, tik tok or any of that other stupid crap. ALDEER is my "social media". Ive met a few of these guys and talked to few on the phone when Ive had too many probably. I appreciate every aspect of what and who is here. We have rednecks, blue collar, white collar, lawyers and Drs here. I have learned so much about all kinds stuff I cant even begin to explain it all. FurFlyin taught me alot about gardening. Larry (Perch) gets alot of crap but is probably one of the nicest guys I've ever talked to. 257WBY reinforced correct grammer (I still slack) and hatred for "yuppy tractors" Daniel White taught me a 4 wheeler will clear a donkey. Outback and Wiley are our battle hardened NCO types. Big Game Hunter can put you on any animal in North America Im pretty sure. I love reading what all these guys have to say. It helps me to see Im not the only insane one here.

This is True...

Not like everyone isn't under stress or anything. There is an election in a few months that will most likely determine if the majority here will be felons or not, a flu that has lots of folks scared to leave their house and has disrupted every aspect of their lives, and an economic earthquake that may or may not be getting better that will affect how you live for the next ten or so years. We're hoping that we won't have to shoot rioters and looters from our front porch (most of us anyway). We can't trust the politicians, we don't know who to listen to on the medical side, have no idea if our kids/grandkids will go back to school, and are told to wear baby wipes on our face to 'keep people safe" or not leave the house. So yeah, I understand why folks are just a little bit testy sometimes.

It's actually a clique..... And I'm glad to finally know that I'm in one! 😁
