I’d go no less than 40 oz per acre and use a ph modifier too as an adjuvant.

I would go with 2 quarts per acre.

For just grass somewhere between 1 and 1.5 an acre is plenty. For grass weeds and briers you need 2.

If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough.

Regardless of acre rate, I always get a good kill if mixed at a minimum of 3/4 percent minimum on grasses & up to 1 & 1/4 percent on the tough stuff like kudzu.

Most of the nozzles I've seen on various sprayers give adequate flow rate just as they come with those percentages I mentioned.

I have good results with 1 quart per acre, with my sprayer it's 2 oz/gal in16 gal tank, 1 tank sprays an acre. Bahia grass is slow to brown, about 2 weeks. At 1 qt, it won't kill BlackBerry vines and bermudagrass isn't phased by it. It kills everything else in 7-10 days

Are you saying gly wont kill bermuda? Or just not at a reduced rate. I always have good success with 2 ozs/gal., but on old tall growth I mix it stronger.

You can spray bermuda with round up and it will come back just as strong in 8-10 days. It will brown it and then turn right back green. To kill bermuda you need to spray at least 3 times and scalp the fire out of it a few days after each spray.

Or just add some clethodim to the gly. That’ll smoke the Bermuda.

I have a few spots of coastal Bermuda in a food plot on my place that is a result of feeding hay when I had cows. Gly at 2 oz per gallon doesn't even make it turn brown much less kill it

That's very interesting. I have bermuda sod that has broadleaf weeds, I guess I'll pick a test spot and spray it.

If I want to kill off my fields before I plant is a month going to be enough time if I use the 41% gly stuff from tractor supply?

Usually, it's dead in 10 days, or at least mine are.
