Growing up in the Missi’ppi Delta, it was cottonmouths instead of copperheads (never seen one in the mid-Delta...but good gosh at the stump tailed moccasins as big as fat as a motorcycle tire!), but I stopped to watch every one of those mean bastages get their due!! Like a car wreck, you can’t stop watching

There are 3 species of king snakes that are mostly black with yellow spots. That is a black king snake as pictured, there are also a speckled king snake and an eastern king snake.

Here is a picture of a juvenile eastern Kingsnake I caught in my yard a couple of weeks ago. Great snakes to keep around!

I don't understand this logic, given the monumental amount of evidence of how beneficial ALL snakes are, and how low the likelihood is that you will ever be bitten by a venomous snake.

I REALLY don't understand why anyone would want to kill all snakes, especially non-venomous. I moved some wood in my storage unit last week, and uncovered a black rat snake. I gave him space, and he crawled off. He's there for a reason, and I would rather have him than a mouse infestation.

Never seen a snake being eaten in person, would be pretty neat to watch I am sure.

I have seen that one time. Pulled up at our old house and a king and copperhead were rolling down the hill of our gravel driveway. I was cool to watch.

Rattlesnakes just want to be left alone.

I don't care what rattlesnakes, Cottonmouths and Copperheads want. If they are anywhere in my sight they get a one way ticket to Allah. I hope they bite the hell out of him, and the virgin seekers. Snakes are active after dark, I don't want to be doing a CuzPat in the dark !
