I got pretty good at getting them out of myself and other soldiers in the jungles. Its just nasty.

Cuterebra is the scientific term. They are many different species of them, but they are pretty common in stray kittens.

They're just under the skin and have no effect on the meat. if you can get past the looks there is nothing wrong with eating squirrels or rabbits with them. I draw the line on kitties though grin
