Since last Friday I've been all over several states, some with mask orders and some with just local ordinances. I've not worn one anywhere and haven't had anyone say anything to me or anyone else not wearing one. I was in Helen Ga (no ordinance) for 3 days and very few people were wearing mask and most seemed unconcerned with social distancing. I came back through Chatanooga with signs up everywhere about mandatory mask. I went in 2 gas stations and a restaurant and not a word was said and less than a third of the customers were wearing mask. I just stopped by a Pilot station in Kentucky where the Governor has issued mandatory mask orders and only 2 people out of the dozen or so customers were wearing mask and the workers were pleasant and didn't seem to mind at all.. A week ago I was in Montgomery Al and was working on a customer's credit card machine (with no mask) and a Sheriff Deputy (black guy) came in with no mask. We exchanged small talk and nothing was mentioned about a mask. I'm starting to think the government might have picked the wrong battle and that many people have had all the government over reach they are gonna take. I know there are plenty of mask police around but maybe they are starting to realize they aren't in control and that it might be to the detriment of their own health to try forcing their own beliefs on other free people.

That's cool. But try and enter the VA Hospital (or any Hospital) or Dr.s office without one, and get back with us lol.

I have an appointment with my eye doc tomorrow and they said I'll get my temp taken at the door and will have to wear a mask. I'm ok with that short time with a mask on to get my eye looked at.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

The point was that I've been in several businesses and restaurants and haven't had any issues. I'm sure it's coming but the encouraging part is the number of people who are ignoring the orders.

I know what you meant Bill 😉 But yeah, some folks are getting tired of it, I'm seeing it here also. But i will say this though, i got little ugly with a woman in the DG the other day. My son and his friend walked in about 6 steps ahead of me, and i overheard the lady tell them they couldn't come in without a mask, so i scanned the store and noticed that majority of shoppers "did not have masks on" but they were also adults, so she singled them out 🤬

We spent 16 days outside of Alabama. I had to put on a mask in Jackson, Wy...for the 2 min I walked in to a shop and then said eff this, and in a hotel lobby just outside of Kansas City. Nowhere else cared, even the stores in Yellowstone. It was posted but multiple people were exercising their God given right to Liberty

I went to BJs today and I was the only person in there not wearing a mask. They tried to give me one at the door told them I had a health exemption and walked on in. This was in Pensacola. This past weekend in Troy, everywhere we went pretty much everyone had a mask on.

Our pediatrician told my wife about a month ago they had not had a single positive in children and had quit testing. He was not at all concerned about the virus with children, and he told my wife he was wearing a mask more as a courtesy to the parents than out of legitimate concern of the virus. Keep in mind this is a probably 70 year old pediatrician

Got told today I had to have a mask on to come in the gas station. First out of 3 I’ve been in plus 5 other stores.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I've always been more worried about the response to the virus than the virus itself

That would be my very last time to visit that station, ever.
And which one was it? Local?

The few times I have had to wear one i just pretend I am a bank robber from an old western. My gaiter kinda has that pattern.

Well today I have to take my wife for a Colonoscopy and upper GI. I am not allowed inside but must remain on the premises for the entire procedure with an estimated time of 3 hours or more. It's going to be hot for an old guy waiting in the parking lot I am allowed to use their bathroom just inside the door. I'm so damn sick of all this crap!! mad mad
