We just bought a camper and are planning a trip to the beach. We camped at Docs and it was really good. Any suggestions on parks to camp at around the gulf shores area or orange beach?
The only reason I hunt ducks is to watch the dogs work.

Gulf State Park and Santa Rosa are good places. Usually you want to book a year in advance. Most RV parks down there are lacking trees so be prepared for some heat. You will want a pop up awning (do not go cheap), a fan in the bedrooms if you dont have a air vent in said rooms. And if you leave the camper, make sure you lower your pop up awning and stake it down. Same with your awing on your camper, ratchet strap the ends of the awning to the bottom of the camper. Afternoon storms are no joke down there (I am from Pensacola).
Pro tip - Any time you drive by a dumpster in a RV park look for mangled pop up awnings. Grab the tent part and just may fit yours and you will have a extra from when your kids swing sticks from the firepit to make "fire flys" and they put holes in your canopy.
Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
