These days it wouldn't matter which side the kick starter was on as most of the newer dirt bikes have electric starters. To the old school guys that may seem like a silly luxury but it sure is nice when you stall on a steep hill climb.

Have not seen this bike mentioned, was not the best but had a lot of power. I had a few dirt bikes, but the one I remember most was an old Kawasaki 350 bighorn. Lots of power. It was decent but not great on motocross type tracks. It was really good on dirt track ovals though. If I remember right , I believe mine was a 1974.

It's not how much money you make, but how much you can keep.

Electric start on a dirt bike is a sign of the end of the world.
Either that or the wussification of dirt bikers.

Don't knock it until you tried it. I have a 250 with kick start and a 450 with electric start and I am liking the electric start more and more. Im a lot fatter and lazier than I used to be but that button shore is nice.

Not a dirt bike, but I used to kick start a 75 iron head.
After digging teeth out of my knee a few times, I came to the electrical starter fan club.

When we had an electric start bike that we wanted to ride in the mountains, we would strip the electric start and other non-essential stuff off (Lights, blinkers, horn, etc.) to reduce the bike's weight. That being said, that whole 40 years and 100# ago probably means I'd like the electric start if I had a bike now.
