257 - why do you use a converter to drop it to 6v? The kits that spartan sales for the GoCam include a 12v battery? I looked into going this route, but the energizer lithiums last so long for me that I didn't think it was worth it. May revisit though.

This was my main reason for being hesitant. I’m back hunting in Mississippi and cell phone coverage ain’t worth a damn. Lol not only Mississippi but a lot of Alabama I don’t have signal on several of the places I hunt

I have an very old 3G bushnell that takes some of the grainiest photos you will ever see, but gets a 5/5 for reliability. Can’t speak for the newer ones
