If you have to doctor or garnish the whiskey, you are behind the good whiskey curve. Especially a cinnamon stick. Eewwwwww! Hell to the naw!

Irish when all this crap is over you need to head up to Kentucky. Take the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky. They drive you to all the distilleries and you get to sample at each one and tour the place Mrs. Irish and I did it on our Triumph Bonnevilles. It was fun. Woodford Reserve was our favorite distillery. We've been to Jack Daniels and George Dickel too.

Thanks Irish, picked me up a bottle (tub) this evening, seriously good bourbon. .. Good. Glad you liked it. I still have most of the bottle left and a little W.L. Weller. About time to take another run over to Georgia and see what new or interesting stuff he has over at Warehouse Liquors.

I really liked the John Emerald, and have grown to really like the single malts more than most of the bourbons. I went ahead and picked this up after you suggesting it.
I have to say I really enjoy this one also, I will keep a bottle of it around.

Ended my weekend with a Glencairn glass of Old Tub. Excellent recommendation as always, Mark.

Woodford came out with a malt and a wheat whiskey that I picked up on sale $26.99. Both are good but I like the malt a little better. Ended up going back to pick up more of the malt. Wheat was good but seemed to have a slightly sweeter hint in the profile. Try them if you can find them. Obviously not in Alabama. Liquor is way cheaper in surrounding states because of the Alcohol mafia controlling our state.
