I've had 2 different people tell me there is also an amendment on this ballot about a 30% (or something like that) tax on guns/ammo.......but I've looked at the sample ballot and there's nothing about it. Am I missing something or did they dream that up?
There are 3 certainties in an uncertain world:
1. All Politicians Are Liars
2. All Gun Laws Are an Infringement
3. Taxation Is Theft

Absolutely not true. Only 2 statewide races, Senate and court of criminal appeals. Don't know how you could have an amendment in a run off in one party.

Absolutely not true. Only 2 statewide races, Senate and court of criminal appeals. Don't know how you could have an amendment in a run off in one party. well that's what I thought.....but these 2 people were not just adamant about it, but looked at me like I was insane when I questioned them. I would love to be a fly on the wall when they get to the voting booth and it's not on their ballot and they assuredly think it's some kind of conspiracy.

Not on the state ballot but it is a bill introduced by Rep Hank Johnson from Georgia...HR 5717 50% tax on ammo, 30% tax on firearms

Done did it. If any of you are paranoid about getting the Covid you aren’t gonna get it at the polling place. They’ve all got face shield and masks on. You use the pen that you sign your name with to mark the ballot. You put your pen in a container when you leave. There is a person walking around with disinfectant spraying each chair and table as someone gets up from marking their ballot and she’s also disinfecting the pens before they’re used again. Very thorough process and I was the only one in the joint that didn’t have a mask on but nobody said a word about it, not gave me any dirty looks. The only reason that happened is because it’s the Republican runoff. If it had been the general election there would have been Karen’s running around everywhere yelling at me to put a mask on.

I’m 49 and I was the youngest by about 20 years in the place besides the 20 something that was disinfecting everything
