I bought one yesterday to try. My opinion is spend the extra $40 for the link micro while they're on sale right now. 2 things I see as a problem: double batteries and cord between 2 devices pinched by cover of the camera unless you cut a groove out. I did buy a few of the HME BATTERY/SOLAR PACKS. Both came half charged and I'm seeing now if they're gonna charge up fully with the solar panel before I put them in the woods.

The biggest disadvantage of the cell link is the inability to change settings from appp.
