I would be cautious, Muddy was acquired by GSM Outdoors who has a lot of hunting companies in their holdings one of which is Boss Buck. They have absolutely ruined the quality of Boss Buck products as well as the customer service

I had a muddy brand trail camera once. THE WORST CAMERA on the market. Night pictures would be a 8' blur if you was lucky it actually took the picture. Lens held moisture and day pictures was always fuzzy. Threw it in the trash after 2 weeks. Junk. Cant say enough good things about Bushnell cameras though. have 10 of thous some pushing 8 years old and still kicking.

I have a couple of them. One is great, the other, not so much. One thing Muddy does, is lists the night time megapixels. The ones that list around 2.5 - 3mp at night, are not good at all. The camera I like has a higher, nigh time MP. Do not buy the 14mp camera. The 20mp is a decent camera. They use 6 AA batteries instead of 8. They do last a long time too.
