Anybody own one, or have any experience with them? If so, what’s your take on them? Thanks

The 23/19 size is just about ideal for lotsa folks. Yes the 40 has more recoil and less capacity but a more powerful round. If you get one look hard at the 165 weight grain ammo that seems to be the sweet spot in 40 ammo.
Only hits count.

I picked one up this afternoon. It was my dad’s. Some of y’all may remember he passed a couple months ago and my mom gave it to me today. I’ve been looking for a new conceal carry, which she didn’t even know. This one wasn’t on my three that I had narrowed it down to, but seeing as how it was dads, it just feels right.

I have one and carry it often. It used to be my EDC until I got my Sig P365. I’m still interested in getting one of those. This one just fell into my lap

I was never a Glock fan. Even when I worked the gun counter at the “old” Woods and Water. I didn’t understand why so many folks liked them. I didn’t like the idea of not having a safety either. (I don’t consider that one little trigger paddle a safety). Well years later once living in the Montgomery area I needed a carry gun. Semi reluctantly I bought a Gen 4 Glock 23. Why? Because I was poor and it was about the best deal and price I could find with military pricing at Gulf States. I took it to the camp that weekend with me. I threw a water bottle out to about 12-15 yards. I hit it with every round!! Instant convert! It’s shoots exceptionally well and feels great. I love mine!
Don't blame me for your bad decision-

Before you buy a Glock be sure and shoot one first. They are different. I've had four (17,19,43, and another 19) plus I demo shoot most all of the others at the range at work. And I sent then all in down the line. All functioned perfectly, fed any type of ammo, and are completely reliable. But they are chunky, have wide grips, striker fired, are as aesthetic as a spare tire, boxy, and unless you upgrade with a ghost trigger can be challenging to shoot accurately. They are like a work truck.

IMO it's a great carry gun, especially in cooler weather. It can be a little snappy, so it doesn't make a good snake gun. It does pretty good for siloutte target shooting though. Ballistics are pretty good too.

I have one and like it. Was thinking about swapping over to a 19 just to move to 9mm, but now I’m kinda backing off that idea and may just stick with .40

I’ve had one for years. Killed several hogs, coyotes, and snakes with it. It’s way too big for me to ever conceal carry it.

I had one. It was accurate as heck but I didn’t consider it a concealed carry gun. They’re pretty large and thick.

Personally I like the 19 better seems like a lot smoother gun/caliber but I like a 1911 45 myself..I keep a 19 in wife's vehicle
