I’ve got a 50 cal TC Encore that’s a Tack driver. I used to hunt a lot with it, but now only use it 1-2 hunts during ML week. If I had to buy one now, I’d probably look at a less expensive option. New CVA’s are good. Wherever you buy, use Blackhorn 209. That stuff is all I’ve ever shot, shoots extremely clean, and I credit that propellant to a good degree for the accuracy I have.
Jesus... I hope you know Him personally like I do.

Proud crossbow hunter!

I have a stainless, Thompson Center Omega that I truly enjoy and it gets the job done every time. These can be had for around 200.00. I take it very serious when I am MZ hunting so I have a Zeiss Davarti 3 x 9 on mine as well as a custom thumbhole stock. Mine shoots groups just like my Tikka at 100 yards and is the best shooting MZ I have ever been around. I only shoot Blackhorn through mine as well. I also have a TC Encore Pro Hunter as well as an original Knight MK 85. Both of these guns get it done, but they are the safe queens I done play with any more. I take the MZ season very serious as it is in my opinion the very best time to kill the big buck on my property. The best deer I ever killed was in TN about 25 years ago with the Knight. Never knew he was being hunted till the smoke cleared! Good Luck.
I can't stand a thief.

I haven hunted in TN my whole life so I have had muzzleloaders since the beginning. I have had a bunch of different rifles. I currently own an Omega and Pro Hunter. Both are tack drivers.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
