Me and my buddy fourfive45 took his boat up the river today. Put in at Cooters pond and just opened it up early this am. Water was like glass. First time I’ve ever been on the river and it was awesome! Fishing was awful. We didn’t know what the hell we were doing! Just out enjoying the day. We caught 3 between us that probably totaled 10 ounces. 😂😂. But we had a blast and were troubleshooting his motor. We got back to the landing around noon and wow. I’ve never considered myself sheltered but damn, a public boat ramp on July 4th is better people watching than an international airport! 😂😂.
