Walt mattox just made this declaration about tuscaloosa. In other words people with symptoms are not spreading it or cant spread it or whatever, its just the people who dont know theyve got it spreading it. This is why its so important people in tuscaloosa start wearing a mask in a week or so. "The spread of coronavirus in tuscaloosa has been asymptomatic". We just keep learning more and more.

He also just recommended if you see a teenager with a semi automatic weapon you call the police and let them know. Is it illegal for my son to squirrel hunt with a model 60? I really believe this man is more a threat to our society than all the ar 15s in the world. If you see my son squirrel hunting, please dont call the law on him.

Even the WHO and CDC say it's unlikely for asymptomatic people to spread it.

Asymptomatic people are less likely to spread it but can spread it and presymptomatic people can definitely spread it. The misinformation that's out there is a very big part of the problem. At my age I'm erring on the side of caution and staying the hell away from the public. Y'all have at it and pray they don't shut things down again. That will be the final nail in the economic coffin

Just found the Fox6 story but this about semi-autos isn't included. Was this during a live press conference or something else?

The City Council were the ones who voted on it and it was a unanimous vote. The dems have conquered Tuscaloosa

Yep. All of the Americans live outside the city limits and cannot vote in city elections. The students and the blacks that live in the inner city decide how things are run.

Why is he not concerned about wearing masks until after the July 4th Holiday?

It was just a news interview. He talked about the masks then I believe they asked him about a shooting. He said no 15yo should have an automatic weapon and urged people to call the police if they see a teenager with an automatic weapon, didnt specify caliber. I was getting ready for work and heard all this. I wasnt really paying attention but those are a couple of things he said that stood out.

First, I do not plan on wearing any mask voluntarily, But for those situations when I have to, I ordered a Spider man mask. Comply with regulations with a simultaneous FU.

Probably gonna get jumped on for this......but here it goes. WTF is wrong with you people who refuse to wear a mask? If you sneeze or cough do your cover your mouth? My parents taught me that as manners and respect for those around me. This is simply common sense and respect for others. Asymptotic can and will infect other people. I know , I know. It’s your body and your an American. Also, don’t take things out of context, use the common sense God gave you. I did not even hear the news conference but what I take out of it,,,you see a kid carrying a semi or full auto ( whatever he said) call the Police. I’m pretty F’n sure he isn’t talking about a kid squirrel hunting.

I know what he said and I fully understand why he said it. Of course both symptomatic and asymptomatic people can all spread the virus, everybody knows that. So why is walt trying to convince us it is being spread by asymptomatic people primarily? What is it hes trying to manipulate people into doing by telling this 1/2 truth? He also did not differentiate between a semiautomatic hunting weapon and a "assault rifle", neither of which by the way are illegal for a 15yo to be in possesion of. So once again, what is walt trying to accomplish by encouraging citizens to call the cops on teenagers for something thats not illegal?

You probably will get jumped, but not by me. The virus is a serious problem, IF worn properly the mask do help. BUT The problem: 1) Very few people will wear a mask without constantly adjusting it with there hands. When not needed mask goes in pocket or purse to be worn again, nothing accomplished. 2) This is America, Land of the Free, My body my Choice. 3) This has been politicized in a way to take out Trump, by inflating the numbers to make it worse than it is, by shutting down business in effort to kill economy, by forced quarantine of the heathy, by Cuomo putting covid patients in nursing homes where elderly were killed, while an empty medical ship sat in the bay. Wearing the mask is a way to mark the sheep that will follow government orders regardless of actual benefits. If I go to a nursing home, hospital or other place where there are high risk folks, I do not mind putting it on. If I suspect I have been exposed, and want to protect others I do not mind putting it on. If I find out I have it, I will quarantine myself, and there will be no need for a mask.
