Great caliber in an AR. I enjoy mine. This^^^ I would part with mine, but other than my 30-30 model 1894 it would probably be the last rifle I would want to part with. Make sure you get one with a stronger hammer spring if you want to shoot Russian steel cased stuff. Or possibly an enhanced firing pin... Or possibly both. I found that out pretty quick after I built mine.

I have a psa in x39 & it functions great. I'm not a fan of the ar platform but it has nothing to do with the caliber & with the country in the shape it's in I'm gonna keep it.

I've built them from parts and used complete uppers. All of them needed tweaking except for PSA. I don't have any now since 6.5 grendel ammunition finally became widely available. I was using them to hunt though, if I was using them just to take advantage of 7.62x39 ammo I would still have at least one. .223 does just as well for people and way better past 250 yards so no point with me. The russian weaponry is not accurate enough for me so I got rid of all that the first time they went up real high. Kind of wish I had kept a few of those 200 dollar maadis - lol.

I'm always looking for something oddball or different, and it will be nice to consolidate ammo since I have a few other platforms that take that round.
I'm meeting somebody this afternoon to pick one up. It's an Anderson Arms put together by Cole Blackmon. Next I'm going to try to find a carbine in .40 caliber.
