Took the top off the Jeep and rode to the 'Noog today to go to The Market. We picked up some locally roasted coffee, some soap, some cucumbers, squash, some Cherokee Purple tomatoes and some cannabis. Had a great day. We stopped by several restaurants, but all of them wanted us to order outside and take it to go. I'll be damned if I'm going to pay somebody good money for food I have to eat in a styrofoam container in my car with the sun beating down on me.

So we toughed it out until we got the tomatoes home and made some sandwiches with the Cherokee Purples, and some Duke's mayo on whole wheat bread. We threw a little Cabot Seriously Sharp cheese on there too.

It were good.

We never have white bread at the house. It's probably been 50 year since I've had white bread. I guess the closest thing I get to white bread is the Italian loaf from the Walmart bakery.

Irish, you may do this, but one thing I prefer to notch up my mater sandwiches is make a basil mayo. Only Duke's mayo and only fresh basil. It's great (If you like basil)!

The cucumbers (and Cherokee purples) we needed for the marinated salad we had later that day.
The Cannabis was given to me by one of the vendors selling CBD products when we got into a conversation about growing the stuff of which I have a little knowledge from a previous life.

If you had cannabis you wouldn't have stopped with just one mater sammich. lol.
