This is exactly what most kids need to hear and we need to be driving it home. Anyone with the want-to can go to a tech school or 2 yr school and get all they need to have a successful, well paying career minus all the debt. There ain’t anything wrong with wanting to shoot higher for an engineering or doctor degree or whatever if you really want it but for the majority of folks and jobs there is no need for all the debt when you can hit tech school and be in a $40/50k plus job easy by the time your 20/21 yr old. Mike Rowe has an initiative that preaches this very thing.

Yep. My son is one and the majority of his friends are conservative or even far right wing. If your child is swayed then you probably did a poor job of instilling conservative values in them.

This exactly. I work with several people that have degrees in this and that, but they’re doing the same thing I’m doing.

From what I’ve seen, girls are more likely to become liberals while in college. Guys not so much. For all of you that hate the Greek system, I promise you those kids are not liberals. Almost every boy I know from around here is as far right wing as you can get. That includes high school kids.

Definitely many that stay grounded in the principles but MANY are being pulled/pushed to the left by professors and institutions. I assure y’all I’m raising mine right. They will make their own decisions but we have started them off on the “right” path.

Parents must give their kids a strong Biblical and conservative constitutionalist foundation.
Then they can be like me in college - duking it out with all the liberal professors.

I remember one history professor who called me "Joseph McCarthy" in class!
Because I was vocally anti-Communist!

To his credit he did apologize to me.
But he was typical liberal arts professor back then - sympathetic and fellow traveler of the USSR.

Young people must be armed and equipped with knowledge and wisdom before they even get to the high school level.

My son is 10 and being raised right. He is 10 and hates liberals as bad as most of us here do. I have a limp wristed nephew the went to college in New York and was conservative when he got there. He is a flaming liberal now and got his ass kicked by cops at at "peaceful" protest up there. Got what he deserved.

My wife finished from the University of Alabama with her masters last semester. She was forced by a black professor to study and write on white privilege.

Hopefully she wrote it from the viewpoint that it doesn’t exist.

What did the black students in the class write about?

She said was only one black in the class and they wrote about he same subject.... weird

If that is the case, forced or as spelled out as an assignment on the course syllabus at the beginning of the semester as part of the course curricula. If she was forced, then that is a legitimate complaint to be taken up with the school. If it was on the syllabus at the beginning of the semester, then she would have the opportunity to drop the course if she didn't like the assignments.

My 1st semester of college in biology the ape looking guy with 1inch nails handed out books on evolution...being the crazy kid I was then didnt bother me then but I think we'd have words if this happened now for him pushing against my religion

Don’t bring any sense into this, if a kid goes to college they’re practically a socialist that must have a worthless degree.

If you spend 18 years raising your child and in 4 years a college professor they see for a couple hours a day suddenly “changes” their mind on politics, they never had those conservative values in their mind to begin with.

Not just the professors also all the other students they are around everyday all day. Liberals are by nature more bolsters more aggressive in expressing there views and degrading yours because everything is personal to them and about feelings. Let’s face it most 18-19 year olds today have the maturity level and emotional state of 14-15 year olds 40-50 years ago because they have been coddled, protected and pampered to death. These young white people that you see in the street are 18-22 year olds mostly but emotionally and maturity wise are really like 14-18!year olds. Caused by there parents never letting them get hurt, never letting them fail. You even see it on here there was a thread the other where someone asked if some sort of establishment was safe for his 20 year old to go. How many people on here over the age of 40-50 was asking your parents permission to go somewhere when you was 20.

If you haven't educated your children before college you will have bigger problems.
