JDR4Bama, watch the end of the video. Do a little research on the Bureau of Land Management. See what their end game goal's are. Get off the silly notion that black people can not be racist. It is pandering to a movement that if you have white son's and white grandson's (which I do) you are as you put it "phucking them". I went to the UA when Bear Bryant was coaching so I'm disappointed. All lives do matter, is there something racist about that statement?

I agree black people were treated horribly back before the civil rights movement and afterwards as well, however in this day opportunities exist for everyone of every color. I just do not see the systemic racism, for example. Criminal Justice system is supposedly racist how so are black people just randomly locked up constantly for no reason or did they commit a crime and get caught and found guilty? Police departments are they out to get black people because they are racist or are they out to stop crime?

Black lives matter, absolutely they do. So do Asain and White and Police and everyone else. So do the lives of all the babies aborted every year.

How do you fix it and move on, other than by treating people like you would like to be treated? Until people put God and his principals back in their home and heart I do not see anything that is going to help.

I assure u I aint racist...i see it as evil vs good...if a white person looks down or judges a black person I think its evil, same for blacks that do the same to white...this ain't the 1950's I dont understand how we aint all equal today? The media only shows what they want to fit an agenda man...plenty of white people have been killed by police in the last few years that shouldn't have...ive had friends get the hell beat out of em by police they white too...maybe this video is different than the group but it didn't sound like it?

I dont need to see the news to know that people are still treated differently. For people to stand up for themselves, they have to go over the top or no one would pay any attention. If you watched that video and got mad, really mad, then yes your part of the problem. I'm done.

I don’t recall anyone in this thread saying anything racist towards people of any color. The point most are saying is that there are other agendas being pushed towards our way of life....nobody deserves to be mistreated because of the color of their skin......but did you see what the BLM leader said the other day? Basically shouting threats of things to come if they don’t get their way? But yet you want me to co-sign with a group that openly supports that group? I think I’ll pass! By the way I am far from racist that’s a guarantee.

I don't care what color an asshole, thug or terrorist is period. If BLM wants any respect or support from me they will have to denounce the looting, burning, and the destruction of our Country. They will also need to address the black on black killings and the abortion of black children, otherwise I'll continue to think of them as another Racist Hate Group no better that the KKK.

Imma white dude. An army brat. Ol man retired in '81 as an E7. Mom was a part time cashier. We didn't have chit. Lived in an old trailer either on base (if they had a park) or off base somewhere. Last 2 years of my dad's career, we lived in base housing at Ft. Carson (McNerney St i believe). Went to elementary school on base most of of the time. Long time ago, but i remember a bunch of black kids going too. Several of my best friends were black. Moved to morgan co when dad retired and there was 1 black kid in school thru high school. Never had any issues. Went to alabama a&m (a predominately black land grant university) for 3 years, so i do know how it is to be treated different. Saw it from students, profs and adm. Actually had my pic made while i was talking to a classmate for a publicity ad. I didn't care how they treated me, was just there for a degree. Seen how all lives matter thru 33 years of public service. I ain't racist. I ain't a bigot. The video bringing attention to only one race mattering, is bigoted. Me being lumped or painted with that broad brush saying i cheer for them on saturdays, but don't care about their lives the other 6 days is chit. I cheered for them on saturdays, yes. But your life is your life and unless it crosses my lifes path during the week, i don't care. Do i wish harm upon you, no. And neither do 95% of the folks walking around. That other 5% is evil. But i can't do anything with them other than not associate. Saban ain't doing nothing but trying to do what he can to save his paycheck. And all these X lives matter screamers ain't gonna get nothing from me until they show they're gonna work for the thousands of aborted babies. #theycantbreatheeither

sorry, rant off

Just remember, anything related to Alabama at all must be discarded. Old photos and tickets, autographs, jerseys, clothes and hats, all memorabilia, all your wife's and kids' stuff even if they pitch a fit. All of it has to go in the garbage.

When you're done with something, gotta be done with it.

At this point, they pretty much had to say something. A program as huge and spotlighted as UA wasn't going to be able to get around it in the court of public opinion, which, sadly, seems to be the only one that matters anymore. This was basically the only way to attempt to appease both sides of it. My biggest problem with the video, and the whole premise of "black lives matter" (the idea, not the actual group) is that it implies that, at some point, black lives didn't matter. And I realize that there was a time in our history where, to a lot of people, they didn't........that time has long since come and gone and it's time to get past it.

Maybe if everyone who is infuriated at the video gave up their tickets, it wouldn't cost me 3 months' worth of my mortgage to take my kids to a decent SEC game....

James, your spot on! There is no difference as I have said many times if there were a major difference then thru the years of me saying it then someone would have challenged me! Aldeer loves a good pissin contest! Some people can’t give it up and will fight you tooth and nail defending it and that is their right so I’m not knocking them! But it sad to see that the only reason they are doing this is because they will lose recruits! Is anyone on here naive enough to think that Mike Leech or Kiffin give a crap about a flag? But if they don’t play the game then nobody is coming to their schools! I get that we all have bills to pay and must earn a leaving and sometimes will have to take what others give us.......I’m just thankful that I don’t have to take this in order to pay my bills. I guess that is the part that is most said to me is that these guys are willing to do that!

I have not heard about any of that. Frankly, I'm disappointed about a LOT of things they University has been doing since I graduated in 07.

Would be interesting to see Mississippi say "Screw y'all. Do it." and see if the other universities would boycott them. I don't think they would.
