pond beaver can be tough. If mud is built up in front of the pipe you could try a big foot trap[ like a MB750 ] on a long chain or a drowning rig in front of the pipe, If the water is not too deep in front of the pipe you can use dog pen wire and make a half circle "fence" around the culvert, cut out a square the size of a 330 and set one on the opening. The only other thing I would look at is locating their den and trapping them there.

We've had good luck building a rip rap burm in arc shape around front of pipe. Stay 5 to 10 feet away from pipe inlet. They may build against rip rap, but won't go into pipe.
