I was just watching a report about how they had so many cops call out that they were having trouble responding to 911 calls. Of course the mayor and police chief won't comment specifically about how many folks are out.

This is the future of policing in democrat-run big cities. The criminals run free while law abiding citizens have to hide at home.

Man, I thank the Lord every day I'm not some helpless city slicker in one of these God-forsaken cities that can't get a carry license and is at the mercy of a criminal-loving mayor. It brings to mind the Bocephus song about how a country boy can survive. I did an internship in Atlanta and one of the happiest days of my life was that evening when I had all my shite loaded up in the truck, the apartment cleaned out and the Atlanta skyline in my rearview mirror.

The way things are going, we may be all handling policing, fighting our own fires and medicine ourselves.

You ain’t kidding. A buddy of mine from high school is in Atlanta PD. I haven’t seen but a time or 2 since he got out of the marines back about 5 years ago, I don’t have his info or I would holler at him to get the scoop.

The citizens need to hold their pos Mayor's & Governors accountable

As the police stop doing their job so does the other structural services: EMTs, firefighters, truck drivers - on down the line. Mogadishu II in process. No other Ga state police force will help them. Make them call in their state's National Guard.

The citizens are the ones who turned on the police. They need to step out and be vocal if they wish for a change of course. They won't. They'll suffer. They purchased the plan, they need to live with it.
