I generally hate summer time, but I love the fresh vegetables. I could eat this meal every night and alternate the tomato pie for a tomato sandwich. Butter beans, fried squash, tomato pie, and a few slices of cucumber

There's not much to it. I just buy the frozen Pilsbury deep dish crusts. Then I put in a layer of sliced tomatoes to cover the bottom. Salt and pepper, then I do a layer of mozzarella cheese. I top it with some chopped up fresh basil and a light drizzle of olive oil.

Nice looking grub right there. This is our first year to ever grown anything. We are starting out small on the upper deck of the cabin, but my project today is to build some much larger beds in the area that will be our permanent garden area up here at the cabin.

We are really looking forward to growing our own vegetables.

Irish, We are looking at going with galvanized stock tanks. Wood breaks down over time and these tanks don't cost too much more to get, and there is no building involved.
