you are finally able to pull that BB out of your backside that you acquired when you were about 11 or 12 years old. Damn thing finally just worked its way up to the skin and I was able to snatch it out.

I pulled one out of the top of my head when I was about 25. It had been there since I was about 10. Got a bald spot there as a reminder. Good times...

I ran into a Barrel Cactus playing kick the can one night when I was 10 in AZ. One of the spikes stayed in my shin until a few years ago. I wondered what it was and pulled out about 1/2 inch long piece. That was some tough stuff to live in my leg that long.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I pulled half a contact outta somebody’s eye today. Said it’d been in there for 3 days and wouldn’t come out. Does that count?

I got sleepy one night, rubbed my eye with a contact lens in. Lens got pushed back to top of my eye. Took hours to get out

I got a #6 shot in my left knee. It has been there over 60 years, I guess I will keep it.

Had a guy in the ER few years ago when I lived in Bakersfield that had something just under the skin so I opened it up and explored it and found piece of plastic taillight that was about 2” x 3” from a motorcycle wreck 5-6 years earlier. He said he told the guy in the ER then that he thought something was in his leg......evidently he was right lol.

I recently removed a splinter I’ve had in my hand for over a decade. I finally got tired of wondering what it was so I took a scalpel and sliced it open. Appeared to be a cat brier thorn.

I’ve had a piece of pencil lead in my left palm since 8th grade in 1984. Can still see it. I guess it will be there till I die

Two days after the 2018 dove opener my then 8 yo son complained about a spot on his fore arm. I figured it was a bug bite from leaning on a bale of hay. We watched it and it began to look like an infected knot or spider bite. About the fifth night I let him get to a deep sleep and mashed it with no results. Three weeks after the opener he came running out of the bathroom yelling "it came out!!! It came out!!!". Atleast I had the source guessed but never imagined it would be a 1 inch or better piece of Johnson grass from the hay bale. He still likes to show that picture off.

What do the aldeer doctors think of this? I was cleaning a turkey in March and let the knife slip. It hit right on the knuckle and stopped at the bone. I knew it was bad, so I immediately went in and washed it and bandaged it tight with Neosporin on it. The cut closed up quickly, but it never quit hurting. There is a hard tumor over the cut now and it hurts down into the bone.

I figure something from the turkey got pushed into the cut and it's gotta come out. I've shown it to 2 doctors, but they weren't interested. Looks like I gotta do it myself. Getting home surgery advise on aldeer seems like a good idea, so thanks in advance for any technical info on how to cut out turkey feathers.

Preacher, in the movies they take a few swings of whisky and bite down on something hard.

That’s all I got 😂

Had a tiny catfish pop me on the knuckle while shrimping and ten years later the barb comes out above my wrist.

Tank I was a crew member on hit a mine on a road clearing mission in 1970. Blew my helmet off, busted my sunglasses, and my face and neck were blasted with dirt and gravel. Took forty years for all that grit and stuff to work out.

I've got a piece of pencil lead in my hip since 4th grade, around 1975 or so.

Got in a fight over a chick in a house trailer in Bowden Ga. in the early 80's. The trailer had the old roll-out windows & I got knocked back into one of the windows knocking it out. Fast forward 10 years my shoulder had a big knot come up, hurt so bad I could barely hit the gears in my 13 speed any more. Had a dr cut it open & found about an 1.25 x 3/8" sliver of glass had been grinding away in my right shoulder all that time.

Good story.

Just yesterday me and a fellow were talking bout a mutual friend of ours, Ray, who stepped on a mine in Vietnam and lived to tell about it. He got messed up really bad and wasn't expected to live , stayed in Army hospitals for months and had a bunch of surgeries. He made a good recovery and worked a job with the county until retirement several years ago, is still alive and well. Here's the relevant part of this story to the thread. In the early 80's we were camping and deer hunting in upper PRV , Ray began coughing really hard , started coughing up a little blood and spit out a piece of shrapnel !
