I have a 2016 and have had no trouble at all. The only issue was a recall was performed on brake system. I wasn't having the problem but they did the warranty work. It then had trouble and the parts they used were bad so they did the work again (free of charge) and now it's good to go. I have around 60,000 miles and pull trailer with equipment almost every day with it.

I have a 17. Ive had a silverado since i could drive (3 different trucks). Hate to say it but this is the worst one yet. 52k miles, transmission sucks (can find gear half the time, clunks like a sob). Front end is shucks, already have ball joint issues. 12v AC plug in the console has never worked (keeps blowing fuses) . There's and issue in the steering column, when it gets hot outside it makes a terrible popping noise when turning. I do have a leveling kit and larger tires. If you plan on using it like a truck id expect to have issues, if you use it as a grocery getter it should be fine.

look at the range device to disable AFM. I put it in my 07 and it quit using oil and drive alot better overall by staying in V8 mode. And i ran some fuel tests and my calculations showed the mpg going up when I installed it.
It is what it is.
Inspect what you Expect.

The a/c condenser will leak. Transmission will probably go out. Ball joints stay wore out.
