The front of my house faces due west. The kitchen in on the back of the house, so when looking out those windows, I'm looking due east. Every morning I get up and look out the windows in my kitchen. I have 3 windows across the back wall, and I stand there drinking Diet Dew, staring out across the pasture... I have to stand in line with one of the wall pieces to block the sun, so I can see out in the pasture. I've been standing in the same spot for years. Now I've had to change standing locations.

The sun is coming up further to the north on the horizon more than I ever remember.

Has anyone else noticed this, or have I lost my mind?

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Same, but recall noticing it about this time every year. Sun seems to come up further to the north and set further to the north also. My house faces east/west also.

It will continue North till June 21st then turn back to the South. The axis has moved some though causing some problems at the South pole. I read something about this awhile back.

Does it every year, that's why we have seasons.

My morning routine is very similar. But I have to change positions throughout the year because the sunrise moves.

Yeah, except we only have two seasons in Alabama. We got purgatory and then pure hell.

I'll let you know when the summer solstice hits up here at the cabin. There is a little mountain about 15 miles off and during the summer solstice the sun comes up right over the top of that mountain and it looks sort of like a volcano at sunrise.

Yeah, I know that the earth's tilt, relative to the sun causes us to have our seasons of the year, but it's further north than I ever remember it being.
