How many of you guys have been pulled over and told this by the police ?
I can tell you for a fact that I have and it made me angry and laugh at the same time.
I picked up a couple guys that worked for me and was taking them to work and when I got a couple blocks away from the shop
I notice the police following me
He pulls into the parking lot behind me blocking me in so I tell the guys (all white) to go in the shop that I'd handle this
The officer said "youre wonder why I'm following you aren't you" I replied "I sure am" He says " you fit the description of 3 black men that just robbed a convenience store"
I asked "Did you just say Black men ?? Im so white I glow in the dark so how in the hell do I look like a black guy ?? I started laughing though I was angry He got mad and left

I get pulled over all the time. Your tag light is out, your tag light isn't very bright, we can't see your tag from 50 feet, you seem to be having trouble keeping it between the lines...the best was an improper lane change not using a turn indicator. I guarantee you I was the only person in Prattville pulled over for not using a turn indicator for the whole month. I laugh, show them my license and insurance and be on my way.

When I was a teenager I'd get pulled over all the time for taillights out. I had an old
Landcruiser that would get mud up in the taillight assembly and blow the bulbs.
I'd show my license and get it fixed the next day.

I got stopped in Cahaba Heights mid day by a Vestavia cop for weaving and suspicion of drunk driving. The bastard had been tailgating the hell out of me for blocks, I turned on my turn signal and turned in a mall in same instant. He damn near hit me and got mad and stopped me. We had a heated discussion about his azz tailgating me.

Twice that I can remember, but likely more than that for the trivial "tag light, lane change, etc.. The 2 that I really remember I was asked to get out of the vehicle and thoroughly shook down, once they had a drug dog that walked around. They were just doing their job I get it. One of the times I was in Canton, NC and had left a gas station. Well it just so happens that another truck similar to mine had robbed a gas station earlier and I fit the description (probably didn't help that I pulled out rather quickly). The other time a buddy and me were riding slick muddy dirt roads, sliding around and just being boys in general, well we spun around in front of a meth house/lab that the ABI had been watching. As it turns out they had chased a black car earlier that night so we looked suspicious. That one was actually pretty spooky, we were just short of being put in cuffs.

Yes I have and was respectful of the officer, answered a couple questions and moved on.

And that’s why they end up beat,or shot,when they come in contact with the authorities.No respect,and no shame...

I work with lots of black people. I don't know any of them that have had someone close killed by police...I do know many that have had someone close killed by other blacks.

I've been pulled over a few times over the years. I must say it's always a little unnerving but I ALWAYS pull over immediately, let my window down and put both hands on the dash. I've tried to put myself in their shoes and how scary it would be to pull over a random car that on any given day could be driven by an armed suspect intent on killing me.

Yea I fit the description of someone with a job that will pay a ticket.

I got pulled over in Millbrook one night and the cop walked up to the window and said "I pulled you over because we got reports from up the road of a white Colorado that was swerving pretty bad,,,,,then a short pause followed by him saying but this is obviously not a white Colorado (mine was dark Red). He checked my license and then let me on my way. I had my bow case in the back and he did ask me if I had had much luck hunting that day before we went on our way. Really did not think much about it other than him just doing his job.

Respect is earned, not granted. If I have contact with a police officer, I show him the same respect he shows to me. Most of my contacts with police have been good, and I don't have an issue with admitting that I've been doing something I shouldn't have been doing. But there have been a couple of instances with dickhead power tripping azzholes and I did not give them any respect. Last time was probably the worst instance and I told him to GFY, which would have gotten me tossed in jail if not for the owner of the business standing 6 feet away, and knew I was right.

I had to walk the line a few times. Passed.

Only time I ever walked the line was my last summer in Auburn.

I got pulled over about a month ago for no tail lights on my trailer. Just so happened an accident just happened from a truck pulling a trailer with no lights. I knew something was going on when 3 officers rolled up quickly. I kept my hands in sight and was very respectful. Did receive a citation which was dropped after I repaired (for the second time). I knew the lights were out and had them working but they went out again. Dang gremlin running around chewing wires I reckon.

I’ve employed a lot of black folks. Some on parole and needing a new start. Ninety percent had some sort of legal issues that resulted in wage garnishments which is a pain in the ass for payroll. But none of these folks or any of their family members were victims of police abuse or racial profiling. They all owned up to being a dumbass at some time that lead to their run ins with the law.

When I was younger i got pulled over alot more because I sped alot more.

It is being taught and drilled into these new age democrats to hate and disrespect cops. And then wonder and bitch about cops not treating them right .Makes no sense
