I was in Lewisburg TN yesterday at my sons ballgames. I was taking pictures near the outfield when I glanced over and saw this in a tiny graveyard. It caught my eye. It made me wonder about this guy and his story... if he died in the Civil War. Who’s putting fresh flags by his grave, still nearly 200 years later. I wonder what he would think if he were alive today? One could assume bc he was a Confederate Soldier, but who knows. I know it’s a long shot, but somebody here might even recognize the name. Either way, I thought it was a cool photo.

I believe the Son of the Confederate Veterans organization does that. Seems like I read it on their website once. I’ve already had one contact me. He’s digging up info as we speak.
