I caught 5 of them slimy sap suckers this morning. How did those things get started in Guntersville?
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I wonder if the eel grass somehow helps the spawning abilities of golden shiners, either by allowing eggs to stick better to the broad leaves or location. Or both.
Our son's girlfriend caught a golden shiner about a month ago off a dock when we were bream fishing

I havnt caught anything over 2lbs this year in my pond and this morning i caught 5-6lb and a 4lb just a min later..they were biting good

I was born and raised in Guntersville, fished countless thousands of hours here and have caught half a dozen grass carp in my lifetime but never a Golden Shiner until lately. Why am I just now catching Golden Shiners and why in multiples per trip?

If'n you were to text a fellow and tell him where you're catching them, he'd appreciate it. I'll go intentionally catch them.
