I usually avoid going to Lay or Mitchell on holiday weekends.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Yeah it’s been like that for a couple months all week long. I quit going.

I never fish any of the lakes around here on weekends. I go to the water to relax....not to feel like I'm at Wal-Mart.

Went to Holt this morning also. First boat there, and left about 11, it was starting to get crowded. I had to put new boards on my trailer. So it was a good morning. Caught a few fish, nothing big.

Lay needs a Bassmaster Classic and a ranking in the Top 3 in the nation.

Yep, Airport Marine told me they have sold everything in their inventory since COVID19. WAY TOO MANY people on the lake on the weekends. Can't wait for winter to clear them out.

Yep, Airport Marine told me they have sold everything in their inventory since COVID19. WAY TOO MANY people on the lake on the weekends. Can't wait for winter to clear them out. Every where has been packed for months now. Even the Cahaba River is getting crowded. On a normal Saturday in the Summer, we might see 4 or 5 boats on the river. Three weeks ago we saw 16 boats. We've had to venture out and find some less traveled areas.
