Heading down to Orange Beach to buy a boat from a fellow ALdeer member this weekend. Would really like to go ahead and throw it in the water and try to get some blood on it while I'm down there but I know the ramps closest to the gulf are going to be a chit show with it being memorial day and snapper opener. Are there any ramps inside Mobile bay that may be a little less crowded but still within a reasonable ride to get to the gulf side? I really don't care much about running all the way out for snapper this weekend but I'd like to do some near shore trolling for spanish and stuff if I could.

Fort Morgan may not be too horrible and there is plenty of fishing to be had around there and can poke out around Dixey Bar and the mouth of the bay.

Helluva weekend to buy a boat Coosa1! Congrats on your purchase and good luck on the water.

Pelican point ramp will probably be your best shot. Fort Morgan will be second best in my opinion.

Here's a suggestion. It might be crowed but not as bad as others. I would put in at the Lillian boat ramp. From OB take the beach express to US98 at Elberta. Go East on 98. Once you get to Lillian before crossing the bay into Florida turn right on CR99 then take the first left is 7th street. It's right there. Or take 292 from Perdido Key to Bauer road 293 to US98 and go West. Turn left once you cross the bay back into Bama turn left on CR99 then left on 7th street. I use this ramp often.

That Lillian ramp is nice.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Hunt me down at J&M Tackle if you need some help getting to and from a launch and a place to keep your trailer being things are going to be busy. Parking areas are already maxed out due to condo owners leaving their trucks & trailers because they are not allowed to keep trailers at the complex, and to add insult to injury, they are able to have a second vehicle at their condo because the truck is parked at the launch.

I’ll definitely keep that in mind, thank you! I’ll probably be by there sometime tomorrow to pick up some extra tackle. Y’all still got some stuff in stock? Bass Pro in Spanish Fort looked like the toilet paper isle when covid first kicked off.

Billy Goat Hole on Dauphin Island was a ghost town today (or it was when we rode by about 4 this afternoon). I've seen trucks with boat trailers lining the road just about all the way back to the water tower. Might have been 10 today. Fowl River Marina was packed out, though.

We have a few holes due to not being able to get product out of blue states, but our inventory is still at over 135%, not too bad, I like to be at 150 this time of year. Add to that we have around 25 pallets needing to be checked in but having a hard time doing it because we've been running two to three thousand people a day through the doors for the last three weeks. In other words, things are great, just hate having forty wore out people this time of year. Just need some pretty weather to get people on the water so we can get a breather.
