What is the closes state to Alabama that someone could go buy an over the counter license and hit some public land next week to give it one more shot?

Tennessee is open until Sunday (17’th).

Once Tennessee goes out close goes out the window. A lot of the the midwest and western states run until the end of May. Most of the northern state’s run to mid to late May with one or two going into June a couple days.

I was bored the other night and looked up this topic. Learned several things New Hampshire has a 5 bird limit. I never thought of lots of turkeys up there. Vermont and Mass. 2 birds each and Connecticut 5 bird limit. I bet it is beautiful up there

Thanks for posting this. I've heard it said many times that AL was the only state with a 5 bird limit.

New Hampshire has a 2 bird limit and 1 of those 2 has to come from a handful of units.

Connecticut does have a spring season 5 bird limit.

I'm supposed to be up there hunting through all those Northeast states right now but decided to sit out that area this year due to the corona!

Oklahoma has county limits that come into play before the 3 bird state limit. Most counties are 2, but some are 1

Wisconsin, you can buy 1 tag per day, as long as there are tags available for that unit.
