when are you going, specific dates, here's the reason not sure of my future plans but we got a boat in OB and we go snapper fishing might be able to hook up with us and go. Another option we have also been on a co. sponsored trip on Reel Surprise(party boat) out of san roc cay marina. I will say we had 20-30 people and always have had a good time, caught good fish.

We have gone out on I think it was Zeke's lady and Moreno Queen and hammered some big snapper. I have fished other party boats for years and caught some big fish on them.

However you can always count on some bozos tangling people up and doing stupid stuff. On one boat they said get ready to fish but wait until you hear the bell. Some old fart in the front of the boat dropped his bait down while the boat was still moving and then everyone else dropped down on top of his strung out line and the whole side of the boat was tangled up. Also saw a guy drop a bait right in front of a bonita behind the boat and it proceeded to swim all over and tangled up everything. Saw one deck hand goofing around with his knife and somehow managed to get the other deck hand to grab it and cut the hell out of his hand so bad we went in early. Man that guy was bleeding. Saw the biggest cobia Ihave ever seen swim up behind the boat and a guy hooked it but lost it. Man that thing was well over 100 lbs, captain said the biggest he ever saw. Saw a kid grab a moray eel that bit the hell out of him. Saw a guy step on a hook barefoot and drive the ghook into his foot. Was on one party boat back in the 80's and we're cruising out and way out there and hit something really hard. Saw blood and stuff in the prop wash. Capt. said we must have hit a huge whale shark or basking shark. Were heading out on one and some guys hat blew off his head and he jumped out into the water after it! Turned around to pick him up obviously and capt. was pissed off big time. On one a guy couldn't find his young kid and was convinced he had fallen over the side while we were under way. Put the whole boat into a panic. Kid turned up after a search and everyone wanted to spank his stupid little ass for scaring them. Lots of good puke stories too if your' into that kind of stuff. Some big fat guy ate a whole pizza heading out and was drinking beer. Hour later I have never seen that much puke come out of one person. then other people started sympathy puking what a mess but it was kind of rough. Good times.

Seen a guy hook a big fish and hand the rod to his young son to reel it in and the kid just drops his own rod and reel over the side to grab his dads rod too.

I've had several good trips on Party boats. I bring my own rod/reel and tackle. If I get tangled up. I just cut my line and tie on a new rig.
I usually catch pinfish the evening before and just keep them on ice. Fresh dead pinfish will outfish the typical party boat baits.

I booked a walk on trip for me and my bro in law last July through fishingbooker.com. it was a boat going out of Zeke's so I'm sure I could have booked it through them as well. $200 for a 6 hour trip on a 6 pack boat. Snapper season had just ended but we caught a lot of beeliners and a nice king trolling on the way out. Im definitely booking another next time I'm down there.
