I'm going to the nastiest Chinese buffet in town. I ain't scared. The Meteor? I miss that buffet. The owner doesn't speak very good English, but he open carry's.

I would do some questionable things to get some legit General Tso Chicken and fried rice right now.

I would do some questionable things to get some legit General Tso Chicken and fried rice right now. I've only found one place in Opelika/Auburn that has legit General Tso's. Even though they have it on the menu you have to ask for the "Authentic" General Tso's and they cook it completely different. That's at MK's Asian Kitchen in Tiger Town. They also have some Eggplant dishes that are authentic and some count.

As soon as I go to Montgomery, I'm hitting either Lek's Taste of Thailand or The Green Papaya for some Thai/Laotian. That is good stuff. Ala Thai is far superior to Leks and Green Papaya... In my opinion, if you have not tried it.

In my opinion, if you have not tried it. They all 3 have pros and cons. I love all. Leks has best beef fried rice, and serves sushi the others don’t. But parking can be a bitch, and the heat can be inconsistent. Sometimes medium will light you up, and sometimes it’s bland AlaThai delivers, and their baby egg rolls are excellent, Green Pap is consistently good Like I say, I like all 3
