Deer eat gourd plants and green gourds. I found that out last year. They didn’t destroy them but they did pick around on them. I don’t know if any of you have ever planted gourds, but the vines stink. Bad smell stink. If deer will eat that, they’ll eat anything
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

deer are different looking goats, they will et anything. Friend of mine plants his garden in a fenced area and than another fenced area about 6 foot from the first and has a couple dogs in that 6 foot area. Only thing to keep deer out. Before he built the outer fence deer would jump the inter fence .Before he built the outer fence a buck tried to jump the inner fence got caught and tore the whole fence down. 4 wheeled drive goat thats all they are
It isn't necessary to see a good tackle...you can hear it.

Here is an update on my garden . After hearing everyones comments on what the deer would eat , i was not very optimistic of any success. We planted our garden right along the edge of the woods ( unhunted land with a good deer population about 75 yards from the house . So here is what we planed and what worked. We applied a home made deer repellant twice over the season that we made going by Bob villas deer repellant recipe.
Pickelimg cucumbers. - no leaves or dukes eaten by deer Straight eight cucumbers. “. Armenian cucumbers. “ Squash. “ Okra. “. Seven feet tall and many okra harvested Zucchinni. “ Potatoes “ Tomato No leave eating, found one large tomatoe on ground with teeth marks, maybe deer Pumpkin. “ Watermelon. “ Tobasco. Pepper. 2-3 plants half eaten out of 12 Banana pepper. 4-5 plants half eaten out of 12 Bell pepper 2-3 plants half eaten out of 12 Jalapeño 6 out of 12 eaten
I’m puzzled why they didn’t eat more, but very pleased that they didnt.
