I am going on record today, Friday May 1, making the follwing prediction:

There will be a Democratic “brokered convention”.

The first vote, due to angry delegates from the failed Elizebeth Warren and failed Bernie Sanders campaigns, will fail to vote for Joe “dirty digits” Biden on the first poll. This is important, because if this happens, a brokered (back room horse trading) convention will occur, promising power, favors, and cabinet positions to the weaker and failed campaigns.

When the delegation comes back to the floor, you WILL SEE HILLARY CLINTON NOMINATED as the Democratic candidate for the presidency on the second poll.

Before everybody here piles on to tell me why this can’t happen, I will remind you that she is all-powerful, and has skated through any attempts to be brought to justice. The rules don’t apply to her, and the Clinton Foundation is quietly raising money from foreign players to fund this thinly veiled PAC that she is a board member of.

Mark my words. The idea that Trump is a shoo-in for President, 2020 is foolish thinking. Your vote this time will be the most important vote in your lifetime.

It’s coming, mark my words today. It will come all at one time like this pandemic.

Hillary for 2020 is a reality.

I'll tell what's going to happen and take it the bank.
The democrats will run Biden and Cuomo. If they happen to be elected they'll name Hillary secretary of state.
Then they'll kill Biden and Cuomo will be president and Hillary vice president.

Very plausible. I just don’t know if the radical left wing will go along with Hillary being the candidate.

Here’s my theory. I think Biden gets the nod and chooses either Hildabeast or Stacy Abrams as his running mate. If he wins, he gets inaugurated then after a few weeks steps down due to health concerns.

This is Hillary’s last shot at the top job, due to Parkinson’s disease, added to the fact that her psyche WON’T LET HER ACCEPT BEING SECOND FIDDLE. That’s why I believe my own prediction. I went through those scenarios, and arrived at my belief.

They have tasted getting close once before. watch the Dems turn on Biden suddenly. This time, she’s gonna come out of nowhere and pass the pack. We won’t know what hit us.

But I welcome and encourage other’s opinions and scenarios. It makes us all remember to think about just how thinly we are hanging on.

GET OUT THE VOTE 2020.

Biden needs a Midwestern VP who could fill in when his early-onset advances.

He won't pick Cuomo, who will be looking at 2024. Warren is an East Coast lib just like Biden, so no need for her and especially since she didn't poll well in the Midwest. Harris could help with the West Coast base and also because she went after DJT and his crew, which the Dems loved. Whitmer shat upon herself in Michigan and ruined any chance, IMO, at the nomination.

Klobuchar seems like the smart choice for Biden.

He can't choose a male VP candidate because the Dem women would howl, and the GOP would easily brand him a liar. Biden phucked up by saying he would choose one instead of being politically prudent and giving zero assurances.

Two dozen candidates in the Party of Inclusion whittled to one old white gropey career politician who now must choose a woman VP candidate or be branded a liar and lose his third shot at the WH? It's almost too good to be true.

The mere fact that Killary ostensibly got more popular votes than Donald Trump, added to the fact that this mental midget dementia patient Creepy Joe is even a candidate and is seriously being put up as a candidate for the highest office in the land, leader of the Free World, regardless of what happens next, chills me to the marrow. Those two things are almost impossible for me to believe.

If Hillary Clinton is nominated then all Bernie Sanders supporters will vote for Trump. They hate Hilary more than Trump.

That's just what they say in public. It's not exactly like wearing a MAGA hat is a popular thing. Behind the voting booth curtain is all that matters.

Well, it just got worse. I read that Biden picked Chris Dodd as his campaign manager. If you don't know who that dirtbag is, he's one of the 2 geniuses that authored the Dodd-Frank banking laws, and why you all are paying higher credit card fees in addition to other behind the scene banking laws that impact you. The stupid people of the state of Ct re-elected him to serve 20 years in the senate and he did jack-sh** for them. When his (well known) drunken buddy Ted Kennedy died, he packed up and retired, only to pick up a sweet job in Hollywood, to which he then quit to retire and move to his mansion in IRELAND!! So much for living in the land of the free. He milked it till it ran dry. Now he's back in with another politician he was in bed with, his "good friend" Joe Biden. While I don't disagree with your point about a contested convention, it won't happen because Dodd was once the head of the DNC, and this move by Biden is probably because he saw it coming too, and wants to head it off before before it does.

Good discussion with suppoting information. Digging deep like this a laying out your reasoning is good education.

We need to fight, campaign, and educate others as if the other candidate was in the lead at ALL times. All it;s gonna take is us taking it for granted because we were fortunate last time.

Keep it coming.

Clem, I think Harris is out. Yes she is Black but from what I can gather, she is tainted and not well liked by her people and also has a ton of baggage. Only polling at 1% is the presidential primary sealed her fate IMO. She doesnt bring anything to the ticket at all. The Dems already have California completely locked up. It's not even remotely in question. Biden has to look for someone with broader appeal that can help him in the center part of the country and swing states. I still think they may end up giving Moochelle Obama the nod, if "he" is willing to take it (he's real busy right now raking in all the payoffs and cash payments and collecting on all the favors from their previous 2 terms). If he did take it, he would then name his muslim hubby his VP and be off and running again.

Agree about Harris and the Left Coast being locked up. They're going to vote for Biden no matter what. So it would be useless to have Harris on board as VP.

Slate.com rips Biden's pick of Dodd, calling the latter an "accused sex creep and sex creep enabler." They're not on board with Dodd being part of the VP selection team. That's saying a lot coming from that site.
