Agree withWeller’s- it’s about as close to the taste of Blanton’s that I know. Four Roses Single Barrel is a good choice and usually available at my ABC. Baker’s another good choice.

John Emerald made in Opelika is about as good as it comes. I may be a little biased as I live in Opelika, but Irish is spot on. I would give a second for the Woodford Reserve as well.

I don't know how you would get good water to make liquor from around Opelika but maybe there is some limestone around there. You can't make good bourbon without it..... maybe an interpretation of good bourbon but limestone filtered water is a key ingredient.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
