NSD, you should remember. after 911, the twelve guys that were Army special forces that went to Afghanistan and attacked the Taliban and
Bin Ladens group. The things they achieved were remarkable.

NSD, you should remember. after 911, the twelve guys that were Army special forces that went to Afghanistan and attacked the Taliban and
Bin Ladens group. The things they achieved were remarkable. That was my battalion that flew those guys in. We had to get special permission from a country that we usually don’t do business with to get them to Uzbekistan and into Afghanistan. It was squirrelly but we were the first ones in country. There was a CIA guy who would bury pieces of the WTC with every hadji HVT, it was bada$$

We have a saddle and a few more things that they used here in one of our training centers. I kept meaning to get pics of them but never remembered to while I was in the building. I’ll see if I can get them and post them up next time I’m over there.

Read the book Horse Soldiers it's what the movie is based on Movie is good, read the book if you can. Goes into a lot of detail left out in the movie.

They ran headlong into to hell on several occasions and All came home.

Really, That means nothing to most of us. That was repeated constantly during the movie. The 595 is a Delta attachment, they were Delta Force. CAG is Combat Applications Group, that’s what Delta Force is really called in service. I apologize, like I said I’ve never seen the film so I don’t know what they say. I don’t talk about what I did in the Army much and this is exactly the reason, the second I do someone gets some kind of attitude about it...... it’s always the most “patriotic” ones too
