I’m only familiar with AVCRAD and other Aviation guard units and honestly they’re more high speed than regular Army for the most part. Mainly because they have more senior guys out on the flight line actually turning wrenches but I could always rely on the guard units down range.

I would say some of you are ill informed on the capabilities of the National Guard to perform there duties as assigned by there AFSC/MOS. Now if you take them out of there career field and assign them duties that do not align with there field of expertise that is a different story. Would be the same if you took people from the civilian world and all of a sudden put them in the military and expected them to perform those duties at a very high level.

If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough.

The national guard has only one unit, they are called circlejerks.

These faces, myself, service buddies and their families disagree.

I know good men in the PANG, MSNG and a few AVCRADs that disagree as well.

As he has stated numerous times, he doesn't care what your or anyone else thinks about what he says. None of it really surprises me anymore, but what amazes me still is all of the folks that rush to his defense - all of those folks are apparently fine with him just taking a giant dump on all of those serving in the National Guard - and I guess maybe with him being a representative of this site that is also how the site owners feel as well. Somewhat shocking.

Drag your cursor across each one of those brave men and women's face and click on each one and it will tell you who they are and how they died serving our country.

There has been trash talk between members of the different branches of the military for years. That kind of comment is nothing new. I have seen and heard "offensive" comments about probably every branch of the service by someone in a different branch. Is it right? Probably not, but happens all the time. Is it worth getting all worked up on here over? Probably not.

Just my two cents.

He doesn't speak for all of us, I appreciate any soldier, first responder, police, etc. If I'm not mistaken, the GUARD is who is deployed most of the time in any crisis situation. I may be wrong, but I also believe there are more Guardsmen than regular military.

You are correct that the guard is utilized during most crisis. That is their homeland function and is easily utilized since they are controlled by each states Governor until federally appointed by the President. When you combine all of the state’s capabilities across the Army and Air Guard forces it is a impressive force that the states are empowered to utilize in times of emergencies.

Thin skin must be getting contagious. I actually meant no disrespect, I was only poking at a couple of individuals.
Perhaps I should have tagged it with a half dozen smiley faces. I've got friends in the guard, national guard, air guard, and even the coast guard.
We rag each other all the time.... Especially the coast guard.... 😆😆😆😆😆😆
