I don't know the owner but always have had good service and food there.

It's part of a corporate group. There's no local owner. You'd have to call and ask for the manager if you have/had an issue.

Ate there many times myself and was decent...but wife got kicked out yesterday cuz she took my oldest 12yr and her friend and wanted to order off kids menu for the friend which was over the 10 but wife said she'd pay adult price ...waiter said it's against policy and walked away, wife said that's a stupid policy to my daughter. ..waiter thinks she called her stupid and confronts her which at that point my lil cute wife don't back down on what's said and tells her if she was gonna call her stupid shed said it when She was standing there...bam manager comes out n says leave 😃...wife let's it go until she expressed her feelings online, then manager n waitress chime in which I think r girl lovers and thats when i asked this post

Bloomin’ Brands owns BFG, and Outback Steakhouse, and Carrabba’s Italian. Pretty good company, overall

Havent been in a while but used to frequent one in Lakeland, FL. that was excellent.

Really? Guess it’s just a matter of personal preference I think all 3 of the bloomin’ brands restaurants are great.

outback does indeed suck..all of the chain "steakplaces" suck

I compare them to a place like Docs or Big Mikes..roughly same price. MUCH different food.

Ruth Chris is pretty good but a significantly higher price point than Outback.
But I agree if I'm wanting steak at a restaurant I prefer nonchain restaurants. The filet at Acre here in Auburn is a favorite of mine and Georges in Sheffield.

I think if you go to Outback expecting a high end steak, you will be disappointed

I like their wings. Bloomin onion never disappoints. Beer usually pretty cold.

agree with Ruth's Chris, the exception for the "chain" comment, might have to try that place in Auburn...

Ruth Chris is not good. Been there a few times and my steak is always overcooked because of the 400 degree plate. The broccoli au gratin is decent. I won’t go back because last time I ordered a beer and my server told me that this wasn’t exactly a beer drinking restaurant.

For what it is, Connor’s in Bridgestreet isn’t a terrible steak place and it’s not expensive at all.

Outback is reliable as they come. No you’re not going to have gourmet food but who goes to Outback looking for that? The Alice Spring chicken never disappoints.

You can keep all of the aforementioned restaurants!

Are you talking about the Big Mike’s in gulf shores? We ate there a couple weeks ago and their fried mozzarella was a wonderful appetizer but as far as the salad and steak we were all really really underwhelmed. I’d take an outback or bonefish steak anyday over the ribeye I had at Big Mike’s. Guess it takes all kinds
