The bible also says we are ALL sinners. So who does God hear? Also the only righteousness any human has is our faith in Jesus, we have none of our own. We all sin, but the Bible NEVER refers to born again Believers as sinners. It refers to them as, saints. Paul said he was the chiefest of sinners didnt he?

In 1 Timothy, the apostle is primarily referring to the time, before his calling and conversion, when he persecuted Christians by arresting them in their homes (Acts 8:3). Ephesians 2:19-So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, Corinthians 14:33-for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints Ephesians 1:1-Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus:

So you believe once your saved you no longer sin? Refer to my previous posts. The sign of a born again believer is a regenerated life that is in a state of change. Regeneration, Justification, Sanctification and finally Glorification. A believer sins less but recognizes their sin and is broken over it.

I firmly believe the Bible when it commands to, "rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith", Titus 1:13. Good church leadership corrects, when needed. It doesn't just turn a blind eye to sin in the camp. The word, love, is mentioned over 300 times in the Bible. It's the greatest of the commands. Sin, however, is actually mentioned over 400 times. The majority of churches DO NOT demand holiness, despite it being a Biblical command. I'm not talking about salvation by works, but the clear evidences of salvation that James and 1, 2 and 3 John describe. It’s obvious you want to rebuke, what I don’t see from your posts is one of Jesus’s most important commandments John 13:34

Same as if you hunt youre a hunter, if you bike youre a biker, if you run youre a runner. Its pretty simple. Maybe some people dont like being referred to as a sinner because that puts them in the same category as those people they refer to as sinners, but if they sin, and they do, they are sinners too. Take a moment and think about how pride plays into this and then do a little studying on how God feels about pride. At least you did admit to sinning, there are some who actually believe that they dont sin. Those people are liars and if im not mistaken bearing false witness is a sin.

We are talking about what the Bible defines a sinner to be. It doesn't matter what our definition is, mine and yours. There is a difference in a single sin and a life characterized by continuous, unrepentant, carnality. That's why the Bible makes the distinction.

I have never really understood why people want to stir up a mess on here when it comes to being a Christian. And also try to twist the bible to their liking, just so you can live like you want to. Sorry to tell you this folks, but if you get saved and then decide to do the same old thing after the fact...you never really were saved in the first place. Quite perverting Christianity and let's fall on our faces and get it right! And btw, when I got saved I became a child and friend of God. Y'all keep being that poor old sinner saved by grace if you want to. He brought me out of that pathetic pit of sin and sat me on the Rock. Yes, we were brought into this world with sinful nature, but that doesn't mean we can be "saved", then live like the devil and really expect to get to heaven. God is graceful and loving, but He also has a totally different side. Read Revelations. God bless you all!

I think theres alot of christians who think they really have this sin thing under control. They look at sin as things other people do such as adultry, drunkeness, drug addiction, stealing, you know the big ones. They dont really consider the sins God really seems to dislike like pride, or putting oneself above others, and lying. I wonder how many of us look at texas natives hump day thread every wednesday, no sin there huh, lust is ok right? What about that guy you walked by on the street panhandling? Theres some scripture that suggests how we should treat him right? If we fail to do that, is that not sin? If a person thinks they walk through this world every day without sinning, as the bible describes what sin is, they are absolutely full of themselves or just a plain ole liar.

He was at one time and after praying for forgiveness for 3 days he was still in his sins. According to the Bible he was Baptized for the remission of those sins in Acts 22:16. You know as Jesus commanded in Mark 16:15-16 and Peter in Acts 2:38.

When Paul said he was the chiefest of sinners he said it in the present tense AFTER he was saved. He did not say "I WAS the chiefest of sinners". Read it for yourself. The point I was making was that he wasn’t able to pray his sins away.

I like keeping my Christianity simple so I'm not tempted to use my earthly brain to think my way out of it.
We all sin. If you have accepted Christ as your Savior, your sins past and future, have been wiped clean. If you have accepted Jesus into your heart, then you don't want to or like sinning, even though you are going to do it. After sinning and going to The Lord in prayer you will be remorseful and repentant for your sins. You will still be a Christian and welcomed into the Lord's Kingdom.
Like I said, keeping it simple. There are many, many questions that I have but just take it on Faith that I will get the answers in the Kingdom. I can live without them right now.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Google - "sins of ADMISSION & sins of OMISSION" according to the Law; there's WAY more than 10 commandments - there are HUNDREDS ...
spoiler alert - we are ALL screwed *UNLESS* grace & mercy under the New Testament are real ... every single person on this planet sins every single day of their lives - born again or not ... the OMISSION sinning will warp your brain ...
i wish an admin would kill this thread & let's move on ...
