Went Saturday morning and heard a few here in Coosa county. Also went to my spot in Elmore Monday morning and didn't hear squat. But I saw a lone gobbler in a field next to the road on my lunch break today and when I pulled over and hit him with a call he answered immediately. (sorry to whoever's bird I'm making call shy from the road rofl)

Only time I've been listening was Sunday morning and heard three. Hoping one of my boys can get one this weekend.

I’ve been 4 times I think. Heard birds every time but mostly they would gobble only 2-3 times. This morning was different, they were hitting it pretty good.

Ever since I moved up to Jackson county I’ve been hearing birds everyday. It’s amazing!

Ain’t no turkeys down here. Got every other creature under the sun but no dam turkeys. Probably a good thing. I’d most likely be divorced and unemployed.

That is child’s play. I heard 11 different turkeys gobbling hard at Coosa WMA last weekend. I am fired up!!! Screw a bunch of (non-existent) Jackson County mountain gobblers!

PLENTY to go around this year pal! Come one, come all! sj22 & poorcountrypreacher even said they would point newbies right to gobbling turkeys that they just don't have the time/tags to get to. All of ya'll feel free to send them a PM!

the only thing I've had struttin in front of my cameras the last two weeks are the bucks that are left over from deer season chasing does all over the food plots at night. listened this morning and heard a jake yelp where i had pics of one longbeard and three jakes. air was real heavy and overcast. 62 degrees 30.02 baro and a 2 mph ssw wind. still got to listen to the woods wake up and have a couple cups of coffee

There’s already a hunter every 100 yds, trying for every 25?
