joshm28 OP 14 point J Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 9,375 Jasper, AL	My nephew fishes for AU. Him and I have been fishing together since was just a kid. Well I hosted several teams from AU at the house earlier in the week and got to talk strategy with them. My nephew is sitting in 15th place, out of 250, after day one with 13lbs. He’s already culled 3 times this morning and has right at 10lbs. All the big bites yesterday came after lunch so hopefully he can cull one or two more. Needs to move into the top 10 to fish tomorrow. He’s a great kid. Sent me a text early yesterday morning asking for prayers of safety for everyone. Very proud of him. He’s got great parents and is turning into a FINE young man.

It will be worth the try. This time of year weve caught big ones there...slobs..striper fishing. Just have him give it a try for an hour or so.

My buddy was there striper fishing...said some guy in camo was lurking on the shore filming any bass boats.
