What is a good protein feed that deer love and coons stay away from? I currently have (7) coons going to a spin feeder with corn every night.

Just trap the suckers with DP traps and feed on whatever you want. Won’t take you a few days to wipe em out

Few years ago we were killing coyotes and found some beans in a couple that were gut shot. I couldn't figure out what kind of beans, where they found them and why they were eating them until I talked to a member of a club behind my land. They were feeding soybeans. We had some big coyotes during that time.

The very best no-critter deer feed, in my opinion, is BUCK MUSCLE by Strickland Farms. They are in Pine Mountain, Georgia, but have a good many dealers in Alabama. They make what they call a “crumble” and also make a pelletized. The crumble absolutely will not get eaten by coons, squirrels, ‘possums, etc., which Strickland Farms promotes as well. I mix roasted soybeans and the BUCK MUSCLE crumble about half and half to save $. Only use the crumble in a bunk-style feeder. You can Google BUCK MUSCLE and get in touch with the Strickland’s by phone. They are extremely nice people! Foxworthy used to use the stuff, exclusively and a lot of Georgia guys swear by it. Hope this helps, sir.

Sounds like a good product. Too bad there's no distributors in south Alabama or northwest florida.
