I had a CB radio back in the day and used it alot. 10/4 was a regular part of all that. I cannot think of a single time that I have ever used it in a text message. If I ever have I sure don't remember doing it. Not sure why I haven't ever used it texting either.

There's a copyright infringement in there somewhere. I use to 10-4 a lot, and still do a good bit but I've become more of a "thumbs upper" emoji guy.

When texting "OK" is shorter than "10-4" plus the characters are easier to find on a phone keyboard. And this is even quicker: 👌🏼 And this works too: 👍🏻
