What is everyone's favorite camo pattern for turkey hunting. Mine is usually determined by the weather that day and whatever camo pattern the piece of clothing that matches the weather happens to be.

brownish early season, greenish later season...........If you laid out a bunch of free camo in every pattern and told me to take my pick of it, I'd probably pick bottomland or greenleaf for early season and obsession for later season, but I don't really get hung up on a specific pattern. Mostly, I'm just cheap and use whatever I have laying around or what I can buy cheap if I have to buy something new.

All of my stuff is mostly OG bottomland, OG greenleaf, and new bottomland. I just pick whatever is weather appropriate and throw it on.

whatever it is, it really doesn't matter unless you have some natural vegetation around you to hide you, or barrier like a rise or thicket. Sitting up against a tree with camo that costs a million dollars without any natural cover will get you busted every time. I don't care what Mossy Oak says.

Also, whatever I'm wearing when I kill the first turkey of the year is what I wear for every hunt thereafter for the remainder of the season. I’m a little superstitious that way 😀

If I'm seeing/hearing birds, I won't wash my hunting clothes. If I go several days without seeing/hearing something, then I'll wash them...

New bottomland blends in the best to me. However, I just got a gun dipped in the original bottomland that I love the looks of. I think it’s gonna blend pretty well.

I'll also add that I don't wash my turkey stuff at all from opening day till the end. That's my superstition

Yep. I just bought a vest from heartofdixie on here. It came in yesterday and my wife said “Really? Another vest? I don’t know why you have so many when you’re just gonna keep wearing the one that has all those blood stains on the back of it.” I said you’re right, but you just wouldn’t understand.

Yeah, I finally went through and cleared out my vest "collection" a bit. I think I "only" have 3 now....

And shorts when it warms up. We wouldn’t want him to have to keep the windows rolled down the entire time he’s riding around 😃
