Just reviewed the pre-filled bills for the 2020 session in the Alabama Legislature. Doesn't look like a whole lot of items effecting hunting, conservation or public lands have made it on the list yet. One involving lifetime license fees for Veterans and one transferring the Marine Police to the DCNR were about it.
Anybody hear of anything being discussed in the Legislature or in CAB meetings for 2020?
So the Marine police want to come back, or the Troopers want to get rid of them. Wait , All the current leaders in DCNR enforcement were on that bandwagon, of going to ALEA and leaving DCNR. Hmm

Troopers = on Roads; Wardens = off pavement. Would seem marine police work off pavement. Sure some guys on here that worked as wardens have an opinion about where they belong.

I am a retired warden, My point wasn't about where they belonged, it was about the misguided effort by my fellow officers at the time, and supervisors, who wanted to go to the Troopers ,when that all went down, which I and very few others fought tooth and nail to defeat and paid a heavy price for. I find it funny that now everyone realizes it was mistake for the off the pavement as you say folks to be over there in ALEA when just a couple years ago they thought it was a great idea , best thing ever, going to get left behind etc.

All the ones in here were part of the group that wanted to go for most part.
