I didn't vote for Pruitt the last time and will support anyone that runs against him. I live in Deer Creek and he has not done anything for us. I emailed him to let him know what I thought about the taxes and said he respected my opinion but he did not agree with it. I thought he was suppose to represent me.

Send him a email and tell him what you think.

Sounds like he has reached the point of arrogance that most politicians reach when they know what is better for you than you do.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Glenn Pruitt is a turncoat and he has been in office too long.
So long that he forgot what got him elected in the first place.
And the power went to his head.
I am certain that the new mayor put him up to sponsoring the ordinance
and he should have told the mayor to go to hades.

Pruitt still hasn’t picked up all of his campaign signs from the last election like the one on Ray Thorington Road. Guess he’s waiting on the city to do that from him since he’s in the political class. I remember when he was a bank teller.

I'm rarely in Montgomery, these days, but Glen was always a decent guy but I never got the impression he was overly smart. I did get the impression he cared about the people he represented. I think he's been in government just long enough that bad ideas have started to sound good.

It isn't an excuse, but I can't imagine what he's gone through losing his teenage daughter to leukemia about a year ago, after an extended battle against the disease. I doubt he's been thinking clearly since this happened and wouldn't doubt Reed influenced him. I'm sure Reed's daddy taught him you can't steal what isn't there.

5 to 1 says the state legislature puts a stop to occupational taxation. Lot of state employees in Montgomery.

It be's that way sometimes.

They could pave Hunter Loop Road. LMAO!

Good lord , them trash trucks have ruined that road.

Now all the fuel trucks use it, logging trucks too. They are also opening a gravel pit so add gravel trucks to the list.

My office is right around the corner from Hunter loop. Been doing a fair amount of work on that road last year or so. That road is rough as hell.

I hate that for him Bill and I can’t imagine that kind of hurt. I have nothing personal with Glenn and talked to him after the last election for a while about the city and it’s direction. But it’s like Benji said, Montgomery has a demographic problem and that ain’t never going to change it’s issues. More Money to a broken public school system sure isn’t the answer.
