That’s a cool old rifle ridgestalker! Thanks for sharing the pic with us. Definitely one to be proud of.

Cool levergun for sure. Man, the stories it could tell! I bet it was around a whiskey still or 2 back in the day.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I'd have to kill something with it. Deer, Yote, Hog...…something. Me to then hang it over fireplace.

I’m pretty sure it’s a Model 1893in 38/55

I’m surprised how available and affordable the ammo is. I might talk my brother in law into taking the first shot.

I’m surprised how available and affordable the ammo is. I might talk my brother in law into taking the first shot. Buffalo bore makes a great 38/55 round. I can shoot them in my 375 but you can't go the other way due to higher pressure from the 375. Honestly I wouldn't shoot that one, she'd be a great conversation piece.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.
